Chief Executive Officer
Serguei serves as Chief Executive Officer at Acronis. He was a co-founder of the company and helped grow the business during its early days as the company’s first President. He has also been a Director since 2002.
Serguei is a successful self-made entrepreneur with a 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national technology companies. He is also the Chairman and Chief Architect of Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, businesses and service providers. Previously, he led and grew several other companies, including building a PC manufacturing business to $150 million in revenue in less than 3 years and taking the S&W electronics company to over $500 million in only 8 years. Serguei holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering with High Honors, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Laurent Dedenis, President of Worldwide Sales
Laurent Dedenis has served as President, WW Sales since 2010. Prior to that time, he served as Executive Vice President, EMEA at Acronis beginning in November 2008. Responsible for leading the company's strategy and business across EMEA, he oversaw the sales, marketing and product localisation functions in the region. He first joined Acronis in December 2004 opening the Singapore office to develop the company's business in the Asian market. In 2006, he moved to Europe to establish Acronis' presence in EMEA.
Prior to Acronis, Laurent held the position of General Manager of Microsoft Solomon Software Asia and previously held several top international managerial positions in the company formerly known as SWsoft, today Parallels Group. Laurent holds a Ph.D. in International Business Administration from the International University of America in San Francisco and a Masters degree in Economics and Management from the University of Paris XI in Paris, France.
Senior Vice President, Engineering and R&D
Stanislav co-founded Acronis in 2001 and currently leads the research and development teams. Previously, as co-founder and Senior Vice President of Engineering and R&D at Parallels, he managed software engineering in a wide range of development environments such as Windows, Novell Netware, and UNIX. Earlier, as Architect and Developer at Solomon Software, Stanislav received personal praise from Bill Gates for Solomon Software’s Cassandra product architecture. Stanislav holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He has authored over 100 patent applications, 40 issued patents to date, and won more than 50 awards for software development.
Chief Financial Officer
Dave leads global Finance, IT, and HR. Prior to joining Acronis, Dave was Global CFO at Kaspersky Lab, during which time the company grew from $150m to $650m in sales, and from 700 to 2,500 employees. Earlier, Dave held leadership positions at Ford Motor Company including, Finance Director in Russia, (St Petersburg), and Deputy CFO of Asia Pacific Operations, (Bangkok). He left Ford to become CFO at a Russian auto company, and later shifted his focus to the IT industry when he joined a start-up internet venture. Dave graduated from Boston College and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Dmitri Joukovski, Senior Vice President, Product Management
Dmitri Joukovski has served as Vice President of Product Management of Acronis since January 2009. Dmitri joined Acronis from open source backup solutions provider Zmanda, where he served as Vice President of Product Management. Prior to Zmanda, he was in product management at EMC and Legato focusing on backup and recovery software. Dmitri holds a Master's degree in Physics from St. Petersburg University in Russia and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Max Lyadvinsky, Vice President, Cloud & Big Data Storage Engineering
Maxim Lyadvinsky has served as the Vice President of Engineering since 2008, and is currently focused on cloud and big data storage initiatives. Max joined Acronis as Director of Engineering in 2001. Prior to joining Acronis he was a freelance software development consultant where he worked with companies such as Paragon Gmbh and Invincible Data Systems, Inc. Before that Maxim was a Windows NT Device Driver Lead Developer for Vested Development Inc., as a Senior Software Developer for Ancud Ltd., as a Software Developer for both Decima Ltd. and MIEE. Maxim graduated as an M.Sc in Computer Science with honors from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering.
Nat Maple, General Manager, Consumer/SOHO, OEM and Online
Nat Maple joined Acronis in Nov 2012 as General Manager, Consumer/SOHO, OEM and Online. Nat is responsible for the worldwide Consumer/SOHO and OEM customer segments, as well as Acronis’ complete Online presence, including eCommerce.
Nat joins Acronis from Symantec, where he spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Americas Consumer Sales, – where he led the company’s consumer strategy and execution across all channels – Vice President, Emerging Markets Consumer Sales and Vice President, Worldwide Online (eCommerce) Sales. Prior to his tenure at Symantec, Maple held various technology-focused positions at Intel and Merisel.
Ezequiel Steiner, General Manager for GroupLogic Business Unit and Head of Business Development at Acronis
Mr. Ezequiel Steiner is the General Manager for GroupLogic Business Unit & Head of Business Development at Acronis. Prior to joining Acronis in June 2013, Ezequiel served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board at Acumatica, Inc. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Steiner served as Senior Vice President of Business & Corporate Development of Parallels Inc. (formerly, SWsoft Inc.). Mr. Steiner led Parallels's business development efforts and was responsible for strategic alliances, technology partnerships and acquisitions. Mr. Steiner spent several years in sales management and business development positions at IBM, where he was awarded the IBM Role Model Award and was instrumental in the successful displacement of IBM competitors from major accounts. His career also includes having served as a Consultant of General Electric, and assignments with Xerox and Direct SA.
Mr. Steiner holds BSc in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Masha Drokova, Vice President of Communications
Masha joined Acronis in 2013, after leading communications at Runa Capital, a global $135 million technology-focused venture capital fund. For Acronis, she oversees public and analyst relations, communication strategies, messaging, branding, social media and internal communications. She continues to advise Runa Capital and various tech companies and organizations on their communications strategies, including Ecwid, Jelastic, Qwave Capital, Acumatica, Rusonyx, and the Global Technology Foundation.
Prior to Acronis, she developed communications strategies and coordinated their implementation for Runa Capital and over 30 of its portfolio companies located in the US, Russia, UK, Germany, Israel, France, Singapore and various other countries.
Before her time at Runa Capital, Masha managed Public and Government Relations for the Russian Quantum Center, a new cutting-edge scientific research center in Moscow, focused on quantum information processing research.
She has also co-founded a social media agency called Legend, specializing in social media and viral campaigns and worked as a host and producer for television channel Russia.RU. Before Russia.ru, she was spokesperson for the leading youth movement in Russia and participated in various projects and initiatives for the Presidential Administration and Russian government.
Masha holds an MPA from Moscow State University and earned the Medal of the Order for Merits to the Fatherland from the President of Russia.

Alan Laing, General Manager, EMEA
Alan Laing joined Acronis in May 2012 as General Manager, EMEA. Prior to Acronis, Alan served as Area Vice President of Western Europe for Avaya, a global leader in business collaboration systems, software and services. Prior to Avaya, Alan was Vice President and General Manager EMEA at Portal Software, a supplier of billing and customer management solutions for the telecommunications industry. Before Portal Software, Alan was CEO at Mediasurface plc. From 1994 to 2000 Alan assumed several senior management roles at Oracle, most recently as Vice President of Operations EMEA.
Tadashi Murakami, General Manager, Japan
Tadashi Murakami has served as Managing Director and Representative Director of Acronis Japan Co., Ltd since September 2008. Tadashi joined Acronis from J-Trust where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to serving at J-Trust, he served as President and Representative Director for Agile Japan K.K (a company specializing in enterprise software solutions for Product Life Cycle Management, now part of Oracle). He also served as President and Representative Director at Ascential Japan K.K.(ETL and EAI enterprise solution software) until its acquisition by IBM. Prior to Ascential, he served as Country Manager and Representative Director at Interwoven Japan K.K. which specialized in web content management solutions and is now part of Autonomy. Prior to this, Tadashi was also with PTC as a Senior Regional Director and with SAS as a Sales Director.
