Acronis Signs Goldhill Associates As Reseler for International Markets

Company Plans to Expand Its International Presence, Retail Operations

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., September 28, 2004 — Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management solutions, has signed a non-exclusive agreement with Goldhill Associates of Berkhamstead, Herts, England, that calls for Goldhill to represent the Acronis product lines in South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asian markets.

Based on the agreement, Goldhill Associates will leverage its network of resellers and retailers throughout the world to open third-party sales channels for Acronis' full line of storage management solutions.

"Goldhill, which acts as an agent between Acronis and the retailers, is very experienced in bringing English-language software to emerging markets in non-English-speaking countries," said Max Tsypliaev, CEO of Acronis, Inc. "Our international sales have been growing steadily and we needed a partner who could tap these markets most efficiently and effectively."

"Corporate and individual users now will have the ability to buy retail boxed versions of our award-winning software where ever in the world they might be," Tsypliaev added. "Ultimately, this partnership with Goldhill Associates and its network of retail partners will allow us to provide the best possible customer service to users in new markets throughout the world."

"Goldhill chose to become an Acronis partner because of the flexibility and features of Acronis storage management solutions and the strength of Acronis' name recognition internationally," Michael Gold, a partner at Goldhill Associates. "Our customers are impressed with the features and functionality of Acronis' software, and they recognize that corporate and individual users alike will benefit from the support that Acronis will provide in bringing these products to market."

"Our ability to reach English-speaking users in all parts of the globe, combined with the world-class storage management software from Acronis, makes for a dynamic opportunity for Acronis and its users," he added. "Our ability to reach hundreds of millions of potential customers should add significantly to the growth and acceptance of Acronis' products."

"Acronis is rolling out its flagship disaster recovery and bare-meta restore software for servers and workstations, enterprises and individuals, worldwide," said Stephen Lawton, Acronis director of marketing. "We are adding skilled sales and technical resources with a proven track record of success, as well as expanding partnerships with republishers and resellers around the globe. We hope to expand so that we can provide the best overall products and services for backup, disaster recovery, disk and storage management and privacy to users in every English-speaking market."

Terms of the agreement were not released.
