Acronis Appoints Neil Warner as Vice President of Cloud Operations

Former GoDaddy.Com Executive to Manage Acronis Data Centers Worldwide with Focus on Ensuring Partner and Customer Success

Singapore, September 16, 2015 - Acronis®, the global leader in new generation data protection, today announced the appointment of Neil Warner as Vice President of Cloud Operations. In this role, Mr. Warner is responsible for the operations of all Acronis data centers worldwide, supporting the company's rapidly growing cloud data protection business, which includes backup, disaster recovery, archiving, and file sync and share solutions. Mr. Warner will focus on Acronis data center processes, monitoring, alerting, reporting, auditing, and overall operations to develop a best-of-breed data protection service.

Today, Acronis has a global network of 14 data centers in operation with dozens of petabytes of data under protection in the cloud. Acronis opened five new data centers in 2015 - London, Moscow, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo - with the total amount of data under protection in the cloud growing at more than 100% per year. Mr. Warner will focus on managing and expanding the current network of Acronis data centers with the technology and service levels needed to ensure the successful roll out and management of new cloud data protection solutions - whether hosted by Acronis and sold by resellers and distributors, or hosted and sold by service providers and branded as their own cloud solutions.

Mr. Warner brings to Acronis unmatched expertise in data center management and operations, including cloud data security. Mr. Warner has more than 40 years of IT experience, including 20 years in the U.S. Army and eight years holding CSO and CIO positions at GoDaddy.com, a global leader in web hosting services for small businesses. Mr. Warner currently holds three US patents and has two patents pending in the areas of e-commerce transactions and network traffic and security.

Mr. Warner was instrumental in helping GoDaddy.com® grow from a local company with 300 employees to a leading hosting provider, which today has more than 4,000 employees and 13 million customers worldwide. During his time at GoDaddy.com, Mr. Warner expanded its data center operations from a small co-located network to a global network of multiple state-of-the-art data centers in multiple countries hosting 30,000 servers.

Under Mr. Warner's leadership, the GoDaddy.com security team was named the SC Magazine Security Team of the Year in 2010. Mr. Warner's team was recognized as the NetApps 2011 Most Innovative Storage Team for the Americas, and one of CIO Magazine's Top 100 innovative IT organizations.

"Neil's appointment demonstrates our commitment to hiring top-notch talent to support our rapid growth in the cloud. His vast experience in building data center operations helps ensure that we can scale out Acronis Cloud to thousands of instances with hundreds of exabytes under protection," said Serg Bell, Co-Founder and CEO at Acronis. "Neil also brings a proven track record of running world-class data centers and will play an integral role in ensuring that we deliver complete data safety, security and privacy combined with best-in-class recovery point objective (RPO) and recovery time objective (RTO) for our partners and customers."

"I'm excited to join Acronis as the company expands its cloud data protection business worldwide," said Neil Warner, Vice President of Cloud Operations at Acronis.
