Acronis Offers Limited-Time Competitive Upgrade Program with a Savings of 35 Percent

Acronis®, Inc. (http://www.acronis.com), a provider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software, today announced a Competitive Upgrade program available now through January 31, 2009.

Prospective customers who own any other server-based backup and disaster recovery solution, such as those from Symantec or Computer Associates, can trade up to Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server for $649, a cost savings of 35 percent off the suggested list price.

Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server recovers an entire server to an existing system, a new system with different hardware, or to a virtual machine within minutes. The software provides incremental and differential backups that archive daily changes efficiently, and provide the ability to recover quickly a given file or subfolder.

"Now more than ever, companies are looking to make technology decisions that match dependability with affordability," said Jason Donahue, CEO of Acronis. "Our award-winning backup and disaster recovery products are recognized for their ease-of-use and robust features regardless of price. This upgrade offer takes these capabilities and makes them available to companies using other server disaster recovery products at a very attractive price."

Acronis recently was named one of Redmond Magazine's "Best of the Best" for the fourth straight year. Readers of Redmond Magazine named Acronis True Image a Preferred Product for "Drive Imaging," according to results published in the November 2008 issue.

About the Acronis Competitive Upgrade Program

Running through January 31, 2009, the program and discount is exclusive to prospective customers in the U.S., Canada and Latin America who can demonstrate ownership of a competitive product. It is available from participating channel partners, distributors Tech Data and Lifeboat, and from Acronis' direct sales force.

To take advantage of this limited time offer, customers must show proof of ownership of a competitive server backup and disaster recover. The 35 percent discount applies on a one-for-one license trade-in so there is no limit on the number of licenses a company can purchase through this limited time promotion.
