The Acronis Privacy Expert Corporate 9.0 provides a malware shield that prevents malware, such as spyware, rootkits, adware, and other suspicious programs, from being installed on all networked desktop PCs and laptops. The shield enables you to:

• Manage the Malware Shield from the Management Console
• New! Quarantine malware in the quarantine store before removal
• New! Set the level of malware protection your company needs (high, medium, or low)
• New! View the rules you created and a history of all malware events in your network
• Specify the types of malware to protect the PC from including:
  • Known threats only — automatically warns you about malware activity included in the product database
  • All suspicious activities — automatically warns you about all suspicious programs or processes that are trying to change the Windows registry or are launched at startup
  • Prevent browser hijacking — prevent applications from making changes to Web browser settings, including the home page, search page, etc.
  • Guard against start-up changes — prevent suspicious programs and processes from starting at Windows startup
  • Guard ActiveX configuration — prevent changing settings of ActiveX components
  • Analyze running processes — constantly monitor processes and warn you about any suspicious actions of unknown programs
