- Delete the following keys:
- WINDOWS\system\iosubsys\snapman.vxd
- WINDOWS\system\snaphlp.vxd
- WINDOWS\system\SnapAPI.dll
-
Windows NT 4.0

- Delete snapman string (only snapman string, do not touch other items) from:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} -> UpperFilters

More information
(!) If you are using an NT-based Windows operating system (Windows NT 4.0 and higher), do not delete the driver files (SnapAPI.dll, Snapman.sys) manually. This will make the system unbootable even with the "Last Known Good Configuration" option.
