Acronis Snap Deploy launched; Deploys corporate PCs and servers quickly & easily while reducing support costs


Newest member of corporate product family integrates with Acronis True Image to deploy operating sytsems, applications


June 21, 2005, South San Francisco, CA — Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management software, announced the release of Acronis Snap Deploy, a comprehensive, enterprise-class software deployment solution that enables organizations deploy new PCs and servers quickly and easily.

The software, which incorporates Acronis' unique disk-imaging technology, can create an exact disk image of the standard system software configuration then deploy it via multicast or narrowcast to systems on the corporate network. Acronis Snap Deploy also allows the corporate IT directors, systems integrator or OEM to perform post-deployment software customizations, making changes to individual networked machines providing the complete deployment solution.

In a report from market research firm Gartner Inc. entitled "Predicts 2005: IT Operations Must Transform Service Delivery*," the firm noted that "IT operations groups will focus on managing end-to-end IT services in 2005. By standardizing IT infrastructure, re-engineering IT management processes and implementing automation, they will become more business-centric."
