Acronis opens sales office in Herndon, VA

New office will handle channel, direct sales from the Atlantic to the Rockies

June 27, 2005, South San Francisco, CA — Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management software, announced it has opened a sales and support office in Herndon, VA. The office will serve customers from the East Coast to the Rockies.

"Acronis has been growing exponentially over the past few years," said Max Tsypliaev, CEO. "Sales have tripled each of the past three years and the demand for Acronis' enterprise-class disaster recovery software continues to escalate. Opening a second US sales office will allow Acronis to serve our corporate customers and channel resellers more effectively.

"To that end, Acronis plans to significantly expand its sales force over the coming year," he continued. "Acronis will be adding senior-level sales executives, along with specialists in channel, OEM and direct sales to better serve our Fortune 1000 and Global 5000 clients, which have very specific and time-critical needs. Meeting those requirements, as well as the needs of our government-sector clients, are all contributing factors to this expansion on the East Coast."

The new sales office will serve corporate customers from the Eastern seaboard to the Rocky Mountains. Sales to corporate customers in the Western part of the nation will continue to be handled out of the South San Francisco office.
