The update provides NOC operators access to the Acronis Management console from within the Asio platform, so they can resolve any issues in Acronis and manage workloads on behalf of MSPs.
The release also supports mapping for 2-level hierarchy of Asio clients and sites.

What's new

  • NOC operators login to Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud from ConnectWise Asio
  • Support ConnectWise Asio client mapping to Acronis customer tenants the same way sites are mapped

Known issues

  • NOC login will be available for users only after feature activation in the Asio platform. Make sure to follow the ConnectWise release updates.

This is the first release of the ConnectWise Asio platform integration to replace the former ConnectWise Asio integration. As part of this change, all existing Command partners were automatically migrated to the new platform.

What's new

The following new features are introduced:

  • Active control of the integration realized from the ConnectWise Asio platform site
  • A single wizard to activate the integration and map Asio platform sites to Acronis customer tenants
  • Simplified Acronis agent installation process by means of built-in policies
  • Monitoring of backup and protection statuses in the Asio platform
  • Ticket creation support (NOC) for the following alert types:
    • Backup
      • failed
      • corrupted
      • missing
      • not responding
    • Continuous Data Protection failed
    • Failed to migrate cloud storage backups to the new format

Known issues

  • Acronis agent installation is not triggered after enabling policy in ConnectWise Asio. This issue will be fixed in the upcoming Asio release.

This release introduces a significant improvement in the way CW Command sites and devices are mapped and synced to customers and Acronis protected workloads. This is achieved by switching to new endpoints in the Asio API.

A security improvement is also introduced where the integration enabling/configuring/deactivating is limited only to partner users with Company Administrator roles.
