Patch Tuesday delivers fixes for 96 software vulnerabilities

Microsoft's first Patch Tuesday of 2022 has brought fixes for 96 vulnerabilities, 89 of which have been flagged as important and 7 others as critical.

One of the most notable critical patches is a wormable remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability rooted in the HTTP Protocol Stack, which has earned a CVSS score of 9.8 and can be used to process arbitrary packets on a target server.

Six of these fixes are for zero-day vulnerabilities. This includes several other remote code execution vulnerabilities, which had available exploits before patches could be released.

Acronis Cyber Protect makes patch management as painless as possible by allowing admins to update software on all of their protected systems through a single web console.
