Manual Installation of the MassTransit Web Assistant Plug-in on Mac OS 10.5 and later

The plug-in installer is designed for one user per machine. No administrative privileges are required to install the MassTransitWebClient.dmg file. Once the web client plug-in is installed, it can be used only by the person, who has installed the plug-in files in his own home directory.

In case there is a problem with the automatic installation of the MassTransit Web Assistant plug-in, you can install it manually by placing the plug-in installation files in the respective folders.

Note: The plugin will work only with Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox. The supported versions of Firefox are 50.0.2 and older.

To install the MassTransit Web Assistant plug-in on Mac OS 10.6 and later:

The MassTransit Web Assistant Plug-In does not currently support Mac OS High Sierra's APFS file system.

  1. Place the Group Logic folder inside the user’s home folder in: ~/Library/Application Support.

  4. Make sure the com.grouplogic.MassTransitAssistant folder and the com.grouplogic.massTransit.assistant7.plist file appear in ~/Library/Preferences/, when launching the Assistant for first time.

The MassTransit Assistant Admin plug-in should be successfully installed and you should be able to use it when you log in to the MassTransit web site.

Note: Note that when using the web client plug-in, you guaranty secure transfer as just one user per machine can use the plug-in and will be able to view only the files transfers, performed on his behalf.
