Uninstalling MassTransit Web Assistant on Windows Vista Without Administrative Privileges

Uninstallation of the MassTransit Web Client from Windows Vista by users without administrative privileges is possible only if User Account Control (UAC) is turned ON. In this case, click Start -> Control Panel, open the Programs and Features window and click on “MassTransit Web Client”. Then, click on the Uninstall button. While uninstalling, a message will appear stating that the application you are attempting to uninstall is from an unidentified publisher. You can click on the Details button in the left bottom corner of the window for more information.

After the uninstallation completes, delete the MTAssistant folder and its contents from the following destination on your system drive: ~\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local

Note: Uninstallation of the MassTransit 6.1 Web Client from Windows Vista is not possible by users without administrative privileges if User Account Control (UAC) is turned OFF. If you attempt to remove the web client, a message will appear stating: “You must be an Administrator to remove this application. To remove this application, you can log on as an Administrator, or contact your technical support group for assistance.” In this case, you will have to contact your system administrator to execute the uninstallation.
