The MassTransit Administrator can be installed on a different computer from where the MassTransit Server is installed in order to allow Remote Administration of the server. The MassTransit Administrator must be the same version number as the MassTransit Server to implement Remote Administration.
The installation process of MassTransit 7.0 is a little different than the installation process of MassTransit 7.1 and later. Below you will find installation steps.
Installing MassTransit 7.0 Administrator
In MassTransit 7.0, the MassTransit Administrator can be installed with the MassTransit installer by selecting the MassTransit Administrator option only on the "MassTransit Server Features" window. See detailed steps below:
Double click InstallMT7Server.exeto launch the InstallShield Wizard.
Info: You may quit the installation at any time; the Cancel button is enabled until the Install button is selected.
A "Preparing to Install…" window remains open until the installation preparation is complete.
When the installation preparation completes, the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for MassTransit Server 7, Version 7.0" window appears. Select the Next button to continue.
The "License Agreement" window appears next. The Next button is enabled after you select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Once you have read and agreed with the license agreement, select Next to continue or select Cancel to cancel the installation.
The "ReadMe Information" window appears next; read it and select Next to continue.
The "MassTransit Server Features" window appears next. Select MassTransit Administrator and click Next:
The "Destination Folder" window appears next. If you want to, you can configure a different from the default location by clicking on the Change... button. Click Next when ready.
The "Ready to Install the Program" window appears. Click Install if you are ready with the configurations. Otherwise, click Back. Clicking Cancel will cancel the installation.
When the "InstallShield Wizard Completed" window appears, click Finish.
The MassTransit 7.0 Administrator is installed and you can launch it to connect to a remote MassTransit server.
Installing MassTransit Administrator 7.1 and later
In MassTransit 7.1 and later, the MassTransit Administrator application is being installed with the MassTransit server automatically. If you want to install the MassTransit Administrator only, you need to use a different installer that installs the MassTransit Administrator without the server.
Note: You must install .NET Framework 3.5 in order for the MassTransit Administrator to work on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
Double click InstallMTAdmin.exe to launch the MassTransit Administrator Installer.

When the installer appears, click Install.
The MassTransit Administrator Setup begins. Click Next to continue.
The "End-User License Agreement" window appears next. The Next button is enabled after you select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Once you have read and agreed with the license agreement, select Next to continue or select Cancel to cancel the installation.
The "Destination Folder" window appears next. If you want to change the default installation location, click on the Change... button. Otherwise, click Next.
The "Ready to install MassTransit Administrator" window appears next. If you need to review or change the installation settings, click Back. When ready, click Install.
When the installation is complete the following window should appear:
Click Finish. The Launch MassTransit Administrator on exit check box is selected by default. Uncheck it if you do not want the launch the administrator now.
A message from the MassTransit Administrator Installer should appear stating that the MassTransit Administrator setup has completed successfully. Click OK.
The MassTransit Administrator is now installed and you can launch it to connect to a remote MassTransit server.
