New Acronis True Image Home 2011 plus allows users to recover to different hardware
New Boxed Product Provides Backup and Recovery combined with Powerful, Advanced Functionality
London, September 14, 2010 — Acronis®, a leading provider of easy-to-use backup, recovery and security solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments is today launching Acronis®True Image Home 2011 Plus, a boxed product including the latest version of its flagship home solution accompanied by additional advanced capabilities.
Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus is available exclusively through select retail partners. The bundle includes the recently launched Acronis True Image Home 2011 product and advanced capabilities for power users, including the ability to recover to different hardware if a user’s PC or laptop is lost, stolen or damaged.
Acronis True Image Home 2011 is designed to make backing up and recovering files, folders, email, Windows® 7 libraries, or even a user’s complete system easier than before. The simple and intuitive interface coupled with near continuous data protection and optional Acronis Online Backup, provides one of the most complete backup and recovery solutions available to home users today.
Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus includes Acronis Universal Restore capabilities which will allow a user to restore a system image to another make or model of a PC or laptop. This included add-on will also allow users to restore to a virtual machine.
In addition, the product provides support for dynamic disks which offer features such as multi-partition and fault tolerant volumes, and easy partition size adjustment. The solution also supports WinPE and allows users to install the latest Microsoft drivers, customized scripts, applications and plug-ins more easily and quickly, speeding up the recovery process.
