Kirill Tatarinov Joins Acronis Board of Directors to Help Accelerate Market Expansion

Former long-time Microsoft senior leader and Citrix CEO will help drive adoption of Acronis' innovative cyber protection solutions in the enterprise sector.

London, UK - 26th February 2019 - Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection and hybrid cloud storage, today announced that Kirill Tatarinov, a business and technology executive with more than 30 years of enterprise software industry experience joined the Acronis Board of Directors.

Tatarinov brings a wealth of experience executing effective product development strategies and a deep knowledge of enterprise IT - both of which will help Acronis accelerate its penetration of the enterprise and public sectors.

Tatarinov was most recently the president and chief executive officer at Citrix Systems. Under his leadership, Citrix introduced a new vision and strategy, dramatically advancing the corporate culture by focusing on innovation and transformation to the cloud. During his tenure, the company achieved six quarters of continued operational improvement to meet or exceed Wall Street's expectations, generated shareholder returns exceeding 50 percent, revived core products, and nurtured new cloud initiatives and acquisitions.

Tatarinov also spent 13 years at Microsoft Corporation in several executive leadership roles, including president of the Microsoft Business Solutions Division (MBS) with end-to-end responsibility for the Microsoft Dynamics business. Prior to that, he was corporate Vice President of the Management and Solutions Division, where he oversaw the Microsoft Windows management technologies and products, including Microsoft System Center, as well as Windows Server solutions.
