To protect Active Directory, create a backup plan or use the Backup now feature as described in the "Backup" section.

Ensure that the Volume Shadow Copy Service backup option is set to Use Volume Shadow Copy Service and that the selected snapshot provider is not Software - Acronis VSS Provider. The best choice is Software - System provider.
