Acronis #CyberFit Summit

Continuing their commitment to supporting and informing the global cyber protection community after the first stop of the 2021 Acronis #CyberFit Summit World Tour, Jamf – the leading provider of device management and security solutions for the Apple ecosystem – is graciously sponsoring our Acronis #CyberFit Summit in Schaffhausen.

In addition to their support in making this gathering of IT thought leaders, MSPs, resellers, hosting service providers, and other IT channel peers and pros possible, Jamf’s Senior Director of Global Services Gerard Allen will be taking the main stage at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit Schaffhausen to lead a presentation on Five Misconceptions about Apple in the Enterprise.

It’s worth noting, however, that these lessons extend far beyond enterprise organizations and that service providers looking to maximize their profits and client satisfaction will have a great deal to learn from this session.

Before his presentation, however, here’s a sneak peek at a few of the insights attendees of our Schaffhausen Summit can look forward to learning more about tomorrow – specifically about how they can grow faster and do more for their clients by peeling back some of the Mac misconceptions that still plague the IT industry.

Businesses benefit when they offer Apple choice programs

For managed service providers and enterprises, alike, being able to offer a flexible array of solutions and capabilities is the best way to ensure that clients and employees are empowered, supported, and productive.

In fact, as Allen will reveal, simply having the option for your clients, customers, or employees to choose a Mac over a PC can lead to a 20% increase in retention and a 5% increase in sales from sales employees. This isn’t to say that Macs offer a magical shift in productivity, only that users who are provided with tools they’re familiar with will naturally be more productive and feel more supported. Given that Mac users make up such a significant percentage of today’s workforce, this simple choice can lead to enormous benefits for businesses and service providers.

Managing Apple devices doesn’t need to be complex or cost-prohibitive

Even in IT stacks and service portfolios that lean heavily on Windows, setting up, managing, and supporting Macs and Mac users isn’t as complicated, time-consuming, and expensive as many IT channel pros think.

According to Jamf’s experiencing supporting over 25 million Apple endpoints at more than 57,000 organizations, Macs are actually easier to bring under management. What’s more, once initial setup is complete Mac users require half the number of IT tickets compared to their PC counterparts, leading to more productivity and fewer hours and resources spent getting users back up to speed.

Apple devices can be integrated directly with the systems MSPs rely on

Jamf offers a complete portfolio of solutions to help MSPs manage, connect, and protect Apple devices for their clients. To make these solutions as valuable as possible, Allen notes that the Jamf platform can integrate Apple devices and other existing tools – as shown through the API-enabled Acronis cybersecurity integration with Jamf. Other major integrations that his team offers include Microsoft Azure, Teamviewer, Okta, Google, Service Now, Cisco, Aruba, Fresh Service, and more.

These integrations ensure that MSPs and businesses can connect their Apple devices with the rest of their IT stack for a seamless approach to modern cyber protection.
