Installation procedure
The installation procedure is straightforward. Please run the downloaded executable file and follow the instructions.
What's new?
- Acronis Customer Experience Program is turned on by default.
- Acronis Universal Restore is available as a separate ISO file under user account.
List of fixed issues
- [TIMMXV-108] Online backup stops responding while reconnecting to Acronis Cloud.
- [ATIHXOXIV-3527] The SyncAgent service fails to download file from Acronis Cloud. The error is "Invalid usage".
- [ATIHXOXIV-3897] Clicking "Download User's Guide" downloads an old User's Guide.
- [ATIHXOXIV-3899] Nothing is uploaded to the beta_report server due to certification changes.
- [ATIHXOXIV-3576] After a network connection is lost, the Reconnecting... state lasts for an hour, and the backup fails.
- [TIMMXV-1441] The links to contact support are outdated.
List of known issues
- [ATIHXOXIV-3948] The first attempt to create a new account after successful sign-in and sign-out fails. Notifications are not sent to the account email address.
System requirements and supported media
Acronis True Image 2014 requires the following hardware:
- Processor Pentium 1 GHz.
- 1 GB RAM.
- 1.5 GB of free space on a hard disk.
- CD-RW/DVD-RW drive or USB flash drive for bootable media creation.
- Screen resolution is 1024 x 768.
- Mouse or other pointing device (recommended).
Operating system
Acronis True Image 2014 has been tested on the following operating systems:
- Windows XP SP3
- Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2
- Windows Vista SP2 (all editions)
- Windows 7 SP1 (all editions)
- Windows 8 (all editions)
- Windows 8.1 (all editions)
Correct work on other Windows operating systems is possible, but not guaranteed.

- NTFS
- Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 *
- ReiserFS *
- Linux SWAP *
* The Ext2/Ext3/Ext4, ReiserFS, and Linux SWAP file systems are supported only for disk or partition backup/recovery operations.

Supported storage media:
- Internal hard disk drives*
- External hard disk drives with any of the following interfaces: USB (including USB 3.0), eSATA, FireWire (IEEE-1394), and SCSI
- Solid State Drives (SSD)
- Networked storage devices
* Acronis True Image 2014 does not support the following dynamic volume types: Mirrored and RAID-5.
