Alexander joined Acronis in 2016 as Global Director, Product and Technology Positioning. At this role Alexander is directly involved into all product launches in terms of messaging, go-to-market strategy and overall positioning including partner relations.
Prior to that Mr. Ivanyuk held a position of Global Business Development Director in Mobile and Banking security at Kaspersky Lab for three years. Alexander was not only developing global business opportunities in the area of mobile and financial security but also supervised related marketing and PR activities around the globe. Before that for five years, Alexander was responsible for Technology and Product PR in the same company globally.
In the beginning of his career, Alexander spent 10 years in IT media field, managing top IT media publications like Chip, Computerbild and C’t in Russia covering total readership of millions of IT professionals and enthusiasts.
Alexander has 20 years of experience on IT market, both software and hardware.
Alexey is Director of Product Development at Acronis. He is driving a product team focused on delivering solutions for both cloud and on-premise backup for service providers and their tenants. Alexey has a wealth of knowledge, based upon over 9 years of IT experience and a master’s degree in computer programming. He’s passionate for new technologies and building solutions for new markets. He also enjoys basketball, ice-hockey and cycling.
Amy Luby is Chief Channel Evangelist at Acronis. A proven entrepreneur and pioneer in the IT services industry, she founded and built one of the first true Managed Services Providers (MSPs) in the United States then expanded that into the first Master MSP, defining that business model in the process. Amy’s successes in the Channel have not gone unnoticed. She is the recipient of numerous Channel awards including: CRN’s Channel Chief and Women of the Channel Awards, MSP Mentor Top 250 Influencers, MSP Mentor Top 100 Global MSPs, SMB Nation’s SMB 150, and COMPTIA’s Industry Leadership Award.
Andrey is Director, Global Acronis University. He is responsible for providing consistent and solid training to Acronis new hires and existing staff, along with professional training and certification to Acronis customers and partners. Andrey enjoys traveling, playing basketball, spending time with family and studying Asian culture and history.
As Acronis' Mobility Product Manager, Brian is focused on enhancing and expanding the Company's mobility product portfolio. With more than 14 years of experience in enterprise IT, Brian grew GroupLogic ExtremeZ-IP into the premier solution for integrating Macs into Windows-based networks and has acted as product manager for mobileEcho from its inception. Brian enjoys hiking, cycling and traveling.
Candid Wüest is the VP of Cyber Protection Research at Acronis, where he researches on new threat trends and comprehensive protection methods. Previously he worked for more than sixteen years as the tech lead for Symantec’s global security response team. Wüest has published various articles and books and is a frequent speaker at security-related conferences. Wüest is an advisor for the Swiss federal government on cyber risks. He learned coding and the English language on a Commodore 64. He holds a master of computer science from the ETH Zurich and various certifications and patents.
Dave is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Acronis. With a long career in IT, he’s knowledgeable about – and likely has hands-on experience with – all aspects of data centers. Dave has been writing since he was able to hold a crayon, and writing about technology since he was in high school. When he’s not working, Dave is likely listening to music, inflicting horrible movies upon his friends, or working on one of his “side-projects” (which, oddly enough, all seem to involve writing about technology).

David Rosenberg is the director of product marketing at nScaled, an Acronis Company. In this role, David is responsible for the marketing strategy and execution for the nScaled’s disaster recovery as a service solution, including inbound and outbound marketing, sales enablement, and customer-facing programs. Previously at EVault, David built and rolled out cross-functional vertical and horizontal solutions spanning across EVault’s backup and disaster recovery products. David has held marketing, sales support, and engineering positions at major IT companies: Computer Associates, Wily Technology, Oracle, BEA Systems, Compaq and Tandem.
Eric Swotinsky is a Content Marketing Specialist at Acronis. An experienced writer and editor with a technical bent, he's passionate about problem-solving through the effective use of both technology and language. He has previously worked on both marketing campaigns and software documentation for other industry leaders including Microsoft and AWS. Eric holds a master's degree in linguistics.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys traveling, baking, games/puzzles, and spending time at dog parks with his ACD mix.
Gaidar Magdanurov drives Acronis’ cyber strategy. He joined Acronis in 2013 as a Business Manager to the CEO, becoming Vice President and General Manager for the consumer and online business in 2016, and then Chief Marketing Officer in 2017. Previously an investment director at venture capital fund Runa Capital, Gaidar was responsible for seed-stage investments, advising and educating entrepreneurs, supporting the business development of portfolio companies and maintaining relationships with startup incubators and accelerators. Prior to Runa Capital, Gaidar served in a variety of roles at Microsoft, ranging from a technology evangelist to a managing director of the Microsoft Seed Fund. Gaidar holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry.
Ilya is CTO at nScaled. With over 19 years of software product development experience, he is an innovator in the fields of data acquisition systems, real-time collaboration, content analysis, security and networking. Ilya has co-authored multiple patents in the areas of content analysis and content protection.
James R. Slaby serves as Director, Cyber Protection at Acronis, where he focuses on the conjunction of IT security and data protection. Prior to Acronis, Slaby was an industry analyst covering IT security, cloud computing, and networking at Forrester Research, HfS Research, Yankee Group, and The Info Pro. With over 300 published IT research reports, he has been quoted in The Economist, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and countless tech publications. Slaby has also held campaign, solutions, vertical and product marketing roles at a variety of tech vendors, including Sonus, Acme Packet, Bay Networks and Motorola.
Job Gompen is an experienced allround marketeer with technical background and love for online business development. As Product Marketing Manager Cloud he creates and implements marketing campaigns and strategies for the Acronis Cloud division. Job is always on the lookout for opportunities to establish growth.
Josh is the Director of Research at Acronis, responsible for analyst relations, content creation, conducting briefings and managing relationships with key industry analysts in the security and backup sector. He also manages customer success stories / case studies to be used by analysts and our sales field, along with other primary research and content marketing initiatives.
Kaitlyn is a communications pro with 10 years of experience in retail and tech public relations. Prior to joining the content team, she spent time honing her writing skills on Acronis’ public relations and sports marketing teams. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys concerts and spending summers on Cape Cod.

Outside of work, Kris is a wannabe rock star and avid nature photographer.
Lauren is a part of the Product Marketing team and is the Audience Marketing Manager for our Service Provider and Cloud Distribution division. In this role, she focuses on highlighting the value of Acronis and how it can help partners uniquely differentiate their offering to successfully grow their IT service business. Lauren joined the team in April 2020, and brings over 5 years of experience in marketing and messaging services to the IT channel.
As Acronis' Access Product Manager, Marcelo is passionate about creating software products that solve 21st-century business challenges balancing user needs with corporate IT requirements. With more than 20 years of experience, and loaded with Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business in his pack, Marcelo has learned through his career on Engineering, Sales, Sales Engineering and Product Management that interacting with customers is essential to creating products that clients will buy and people will love.
When not at work, Marcelo likes to take care of his marine reef tank and propagate corals, watch B and C class science fiction movies, listen and play music, and take pictures when traveling. Marcelo also plays: soccer (the real football, the one you play with your feet!) and rugby. Tennis too, but he’s really bad at it.

Prior to joining nScaled, Inc., Mark was serving the business continuity and managed services needs of enterprise organizations as Vice President of Sales in the West at SunGard Availability Services.
Pavel Egorikhin is the Director of Product Marketing at Acronis, focused on explaining the value of Acronis products and on the product launches. Joined Acronis in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of IT marketing experience.
Peter is the Senior Content Marketing Manager at Acronis. A seasoned marketing communications pro and an award-winning journalist, he has extensive experience writing about complex topics in the fields of science, technology, finance, and business management.
When he’s not working, Peter performs songs from the Irish and maritime traditions, having sung at festivals in New England, Ireland, and the UK.
Rebecca is a nimble, strategic marketer, bringing over 15 years of diverse experience to Acronis’ Content Marketing team. As a former small business owner, she has unique insight into many of the challenges our service providers face; and as a software industry outsider, she brings a fresh voice and perspective to all internal and external content development projects and initiatives. Rebecca enjoys making complex topics accessible and engaging audiences with compelling copy that addresses their pain points.
Seth is Director of Strategic Technology at Acronis. A resident virtualization guru with more than 12 years of experience in the backup and recovery industry, Seth works with the Acronis Channel to champion key solutions, helping to develop and promote products internally and externally. Seth is a father of two, marathoner, pen junkie and Squash addict.
Topher Tebow is a cybersecurity analyst, with a focus on malware tracking and analysis, at Acronis. Topher spent nearly a decade combating web-based malware before moving into endpoint protection. Topher has written technical content for several companies, covering topics from security trends and best practices, to analysis of malware and vulnerabilities. In addition to being published in leading cybersecurity publications, Topher has spoken at InfoSec conferences and is an active part of the Arizona cybersecurity community.
