We are thrilled to have some of the IT channel’s leading technology providers supporting and sponsoring our Acronis #CyberFit Summit in Miami, November 7–9. The support of these sponsors is essential to providing the best service provider event of the year. Through our superstar keynotes, expert panels and hands-on workshops, attendees will grasp deeper insights into the threat landscape, learn new business-building tips and discover a path toward accelerating growth while securing customer loyalty.
Less than a week before the start of the Miami Summit, Acronis connected with Cameron May, Founder and Chief Strategist at Silvereye, to discuss how the company differentiates itself from other cloud distributors. May has been on the Acronis Partner Advisory Council as a strategic public sector partner for the past ten years and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
What was your company’s main reason for signing on as the title sponsor and partnering with Acronis for the Miami #CyberFit Summit?
To discover new trends, opportunities and partnerships. The Summit is an event focused on an industry we’ve been devoted to for the past 10 years.
This year, several new topics and workshops are on the agenda at the Acronis #CyberFit Summit. Which ones are you looking forward to the most?
Hosting and Cloud Transformation — Deploy, protect, differentiate and thrive.
You’ll be presenting during the general session on Day one. What’s your topic?
The title of my presentation is “How Silvereye Empowers the Channel through Consolidation and Commitment.” I’ll be sharing knowledge I’ve gained during my ten years of experience and success with Acronis as a reseller, systems integrator and now a cloud distributor.
You’re also part of a panel discussion on Day two, moderated by the CMO at Acronis.
Yes, I was asked to be on Michael Callahan’s Service Provider Growth Panel — What successful MSPs are doing now to keep growing. Several other marketing pros will join me, and it should be a lively and educational discussion.
Do you have any business advice the MSPs attending the Summit can put to work immediately upon returning to the office?
MSPs should look at their clients and their current tools and find a way to consolidate. As time goes on, our business will continue to become more complicated — more tools, more problems. So take the time now to consolidate and reduce vendor sprawl.
How does Silvereye differentiate itself from other cloud distributors?
Silvereye is known for our unique approach to matching fully qualified clients to the right enterprise MSP. This ensures the client has access to the right advisory and managed services while providing the MSP with fully qualified, happy clients. Thus, translating to quicker access to Acronis Market Develop Funds (MDF).
The bottom line is Silvereye is unlike traditional cloud distributors; we don’t provide leads to MSPs but rather high-quality clients that have been using Acronis solutions for some time. These clients now need services, such as IT and help desk support, that MSPs offer.
We are also unique in offering Tier 3 support to our MSPs, providing one central contact for our MSP partners. This allows the MSP to build a relationship with one of our engineers who understands their environment and clients.
Time is running out to register for the Acronis #CyberFit Summit, November 7-9, 2022, at Miami’s famous Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. Join your MSP colleagues as they discuss the
