We are excited to share that Acronis’ CEO, Patrick Pulvermueller, has been recognized on The Channel Company’s Top 100 Executives list for the third consecutive year. This achievement highlights Pulvermueller’s visionary approach to leading Acronis, and his commitment to driving innovation to shape the future of cyber protection.

This accolade, which is broken into four different subcategories, honors executives across technology and channel industries. This year and in previous years, Pulvermueller has been recognized in the Top 25 Innovators category, acknowledging his leadership during important milestones in Acronis’ history as we implement new technologies, including artificial intelligence and cloud storage, to deliver the best cyber protection solutions possible to our dedicated partners and end-users.

A commitment to excellence

In July 2021, Pulvermueller joined Acronis as CEO with a proven track record of exceptional executive leadership roles. Before Acronis, Pulvermueller was a part of the executive teams at Host Europe GmbH and Host Europe Group (HEG), as well as GoDaddy, taking on an imperative role in expanding GoDaddy’s hosting, productivity, and security services. Time and time again, Pulvermueller has proven throughout the years that his devotion has helped businesses flourish and achieve hyper-growth status.

Pulvermueller’s recognition in the CRN Top 25 Innovators list is an essential accolade that showcases how his leadership accelerated innovation. His leadership occurred during a pivotal moment in Acronis’ growth in providing cyber protection to MSPs and businesses of all sizes around the globe. These companies are initiating and continuing their digital transformation journeys, and Acronis is proud to help control the complex and simplify cyber protection. These transformations are prompting organizations to seek a modern, simple and integrated approach to cybersecurity and data protection, which they have found in Acronis, and the use of our various suites of services.

The Acronis flagship product, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, stands out as an innovative solution, due to its unique integration of backup and next-generation, AI-based anti-malware, antivirus and endpoint protection management functionalities. By combining these critical elements into a single platform for service providers, Acronis reduces complexity and eliminates the need for multiple, disparate tools. This integration not only simplifies IT management but also improves operational efficiency and cost effectiveness for midmarket businesses with limited resources. A channel-focused company, Acronis offers a comprehensive and innovative solution tailored to the specific needs of MSPs of any size. Acronis also offers Acronis Cyber Protect for business end users and Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office for consumers.

Since joining Acronis as CEO, Pulvermueller has helped the company hit several exciting milestones, cementing its place as a leader in cyber protection. One of our most recent product announcements includes the general availability of Acronis Advanced Security + Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). Specifically designed for service providers, Acronis EDR simplifies endpoint protection by rapidly detecting, analyzing and remediating advanced attacks while ensuring business continuity.

Acronis is committed to forging lasting relationships with our partners. In addition to providing cyber protection, Acronis works tirelessly with its MSPs to offer exclusive partnership offerings like our #TeamUp program, which pairs all-star sports teams with local MSPs to provide cyber protection to the largest sports organizations across the globe.

Pulvermueller’s role as CEO has also helped our philanthropic and environmental initiatives, including the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program and ESG efforts, to flourish. The Acronis Cyber Foundation Program works to assist those in underserved communities by supplying humanitarian and educational opportunities. Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the Acronis Cyber Foundation is marking the occasion by expanding its focus to environmental projects.

This year, Acronis is celebrating its 20th anniversary, highlighting two decades of innovation and growth. Since 2003, we have evolved from supplying data protection for individual workstations to offering all-in-one cyber protection solutions across enterprises.

Today, Acronis has over 2,000 employees in 45 locations across the globe, serving 18,000 different service providers and 750,000 unique businesses using our products. Under Pulvermueller’s continued leadership, as the digital landscape evolves and the world becomes more connected, Acronis is dedicated to supporting and protecting its users from all threats today and for years to come.
