New capabilities for delivering the enhanced protection MSP clients need

As a result of these updates, our MSP partners can now deliver enhanced cyber protection.

Shifting towards services: Directions and challenges in the IT channel

Throughout the IT channel, solution providers are, in large part, defined by the services that they offer. For companies like Acronis to continue providing our partners with the solutions and support they need, we need to be listening to them. What tools are SPs adopting? What are the challenges they face? What’s working — and what’s not?

To take the current pulse of the industry, Acronis partnered with Channelnomics, Pax8, Dropsuite, IBM, Microsoft, and Novacoast on a collaborative study. Here, we explore some highlights from the SMB Channel Services Transformation report.

MSPs: Start the new year off with time-saving improvements

If we learned one thing in 2020, it was that time is valuable, especially when you’re trying to keep all of your clients happy, productive, and protected. Managed service providers (MSPs) don’t have time to waste on clunky platforms or solutions. They need technologies that are reliable and streamline things so they can address the next issue – or maybe even get home for dinner on time.

As your partner, Acronis wants to help your team make the most out of the time you spend helping clients. That’s why, in addition to making some welcome UX improvements, we’re rolling out some time-saving capabilities in the January release of Acronis Cyber Cloud.

December release of Acronis Cyber Cloud empowers MSPs

For IT service providers, the challenge of ensuring clients are protected has never been more acute than in 2020. That’s why Acronis has spent the past 12 months helping you deliver cyber protection to your clients in an easy, efficient, and secure way.

This year, we introduced monthly releases for the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform, delivered more partner enablement by launching the Acronis #CyberFit Academy, and opened more data centers across the globe to ensure availability, access, and data sovereignty.

But the year isn’t over yet and we have one more release of Acronis Cyber Cloud coming that will help you further protect your clients and their data.

Acronis Cyber Cloud Update: Helping MSPs deliver easy, efficient and secure solutions to clients

Being a service provider isn’t easy; we get it. That’s one of the reasons why Acronis looks for innovative ways to help you simplify your processes so that you can deliver cyber protection to your clients in an easy, efficient, and secure way.

One thing we never want to do is put your clients’ security at risk, which is why we recently moved to monthly releases for the Acronis Cyber Cloud. This approach ensures they are always protected from the latest cyberthreats – while giving you access to high-demand features and functionalities that help you better protect your clients.

In the latest release, we introduce new features and changes to our pricing, licensing, and editions to make it even easier for you to deliver cyber protection to your clients.

Exploring the MSP managed security survey resultsWe recently shared our excitement about a new research study we commissioned that looked at the trends in managed security and backup among MSPs. That blog provided an overview of the survey’s methodology and a few preliminary data points. In this blog, we will dive into the first main section of the survey which looked at security, and we will discuss how the findings relate to the benefits provided by Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.

Acronis Cyber Protect is hereThe catchy title for this post celebrates a special moment. Not many companies have a chance to disrupt and transform an old, stable industry, but that’s exactly what Acronis did today.

That’s because we’ve released Acronis Cyber Protect – our game-changing cyber protection solution that integrates backup, disaster recovery, next-gen anti-malware, cybersecurity, and endpoint management tools into one integrated service.

As a result, we’re eliminating complexity, improving productivity, and enabling our managed service provider (MSP) partners to easily and efficiently scale while making security a focus of their service portfolio.

MSPs Can Leverage the Power of Platform Integration

The typical managed service provider (MSP) faces a daunting array of obstacles to building a successful, sustainable and profitable business. To meet these challenges, MSPs must squeeze efficiencies out of their existing tech infrastructure and staff – even as they add new services. Acronis believes the key to this effort is a broad-based leveraging of integration and automation.

We’ve outlined the opportunities to MSPs in deploying broader suites of cyber protection services as well and tactics to address the accompanying integration challenges in a new white paper titled The Five Levels of MSP Platform Integration. Here’s a brief preview.
