New capabilities for delivering the enhanced protection MSP clients need

The cyberthreat landscape continues to evolve on a daily basis – luckily, your cyber protection solution from Acronis continues to evolve as well. In February’s release of Acronis Cyber Cloud, we introduced numerous data protection and security enhancements to help you deliver cyber protection in an even more easy, efficient and secure way.

As a result of these updates, our MSP partners can now deliver enhanced cyber protection.

Shifting towards services: Directions and challenges in the IT channel

Throughout the IT channel, solution providers are, in large part, defined by the services that they offer. For companies like Acronis to continue providing our partners with the solutions and support they need, we need to be listening to them. What tools are SPs adopting? What are the challenges they face? What’s working — and what’s not?

To take the current pulse of the industry, Acronis partnered with Channelnomics, Pax8, Dropsuite, IBM, Microsoft, and Novacoast on a collaborative study. Here, we explore some highlights from the SMB Channel Services Transformation report.

Acronis pros recognized as 2021 CRN Channel Chiefs

As a channel-focused company, everyone at Acronis works to provide our partners with the solutions, strategies, and support they need to compete. While the service providers, resellers, and distributors we work with often praise that commitment, earning recognition from industry observers is a nice affirmation too.

That’s why we’re so pleased to learn that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, just named two of our key team members – Patrick Hurley, Vice President and General Manager of Sales, Americas, and Amy Luby, Chief Channel Evangelist – to its 2021 list of Channel Chiefs.

New CyberFit Partner Program to power channel growth

There’s been an unprecedented shift in how service providers and resellers are tasked with keeping their clients productive and protected. The adoption of cloud-based solutions and services was well underway before the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated that transformation. Acronis’ cloud ecosystem more than doubled since 2018.

While new client demands can mean new strains for our channel partners, Acronis wants to make things easier – and more profitable – for you. That’s why we’ve unveiled the new Acronis #CyberFit Partner Program.

Channel lessons from the 2020 Summit: Experts deliver insights for MSPs

As I mentioned in my recap of the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020, we had a tremendous group of speakers who participated in the Channel and MSP track. In addition to the keynotes and panels that were offered, we asked several MSP thought leaders and influencers to present live workshops during the 2020 Summit.

The goal of these workshops was to balance the high-level thinking that some of the other sessions would present with practical advice that partners could immediately take action on.

MSPs urged to recognize opportunities at the #AcronisCyberSummit

Wow. I have been involved in creating a lot of events during my career but I’ve never been involved with anything as big – or frankly as historic – as the Acronis Cyber Summit 2020. During the Summit’s three days, we welcomed more than 8,500 professionals who registered to hear 130 speakers and 20 sponsors, which means we may have pulled off what might be the largest security-focused hybrid event ever.

As a former managed service provider (MSP), I was thrilled that the Summit’s mission was different than some of the vendor events I’ve attended in the past. That’s because it wasn’t focused on pitching a product, but rather it delivered the information, training, and content to help our IT channel partners grow.

MSPs get business help from Channel All-stars

At next week's Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020, the service provider track is focusing on sharing of the best practices for building a security-first services organization. To do this, we’ve assembled some of the best in the business to share their tips, tricks, and secrets to building a modern, agile, and profitable security services organization.

Amy Luby, our Channel Chief Evangelist, is hosting that track and recently sat down with these channel all-stars to talk about why MSPs will want to step back from their daily routine to join this year's Summit.

Cyber protection thought leaders eager for Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020

We’re less than 50 days away from the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020, which is happening from October 19 to 21, and the lineup of tech leaders, cybersecurity experts, and IT channel veterans who are set to share their expertise is getting pretty long – and impressive.

As the world's largest gathering of thought leaders and industry experts focused on cyber protection, this year’s Summit is expected to draw an even larger crowd from around the world since it’s being offered as a free virtual event.

With recognized IT channel, cybersecurity, and integration experts from around the world, attendees will take away valuable tools and frameworks, peer learnings, and valuable insights for protecting data, systems, and applications.

Channel Strong in Maryland: Everybody needs a pick-me-up

Our Channel Strong: Positive Vibes Tour rolled up to Dynamic Network Solutions – our fantastic hosts in Maryland – earlier today for a great lunchtime tailgate, complete with a catered menu of both breakfast and lunch items, drinks, and games.

The Dynamic Network Solutions team was super busy inside at their help desk and network operations center (NOC), but they managed to come join us for a while, enjoy a bite, and whet their whistle quickly before getting back to work supporting their clients.

Clearly business is good here in Maryland!

Channel Strong in Charlotte: Ready for remote work

Charlotte showed up strong today and came out for a little food and fun in the sun as our Channel Strong: Positive Vibe Tour rolled into town. I’ll admit that the sun was a welcome change after our fantastic-but-rainy visits to Atlanta and Orlando.

Our gracious host in Charlotte was Joseph Atkins, the founder of SeedSpark. SeedSpark is MSP here and a recent Inc. 500 award recipient. The company’s 45-person team came out to join us for our event.
