Acronis #CyberFit Financing connects small businesses to COVID-19 funds

The COVID-19 pandemic is foremost a medical challenge, but the impact that social distancing and self-isolation are having on small businesses can’t be ignored. With countless small businesses relying on Acronis solutions and so many service providers themselves small businesses, we are acutely aware of how the steps needed to contain the virus are also severely affecting our customers, our partners, and the clients they serve.

In response, we are partnering with lenders from around the globe to launch Acronis #CyberFit Financing to provide a much-needed financial safety net.

Acronis at IT Nation Connect

We’re looking forward to spending an engaging and exciting three days at next week’s IT Nation Connect. ConnectWise’s annual conference (which is happening Wednesday, October 30 through Friday, November 1 in Orlando, FL) is always a great opportunity to catch-up with industry peers. With more than 3,500 attendees expected, there will be plenty of fellow industry pros to connect with – whether they sell, support or service technology.

We’re proud to be Gold Sponsors for this year’s event and are hoping to meet as many of the attendees as possible – especially since we have a lot to talk about with anyone looking to build and expand their business.

SB delivers keynote at Acronis Global Cyber Summit

Acronis Founder and Executive Officer Serguei “SB” Beloussov delivered his keynote address to the Acronis Global Cyber Summit and after getting the crowd energized with his vision of cyber protection, showing how it is revolutionizing the IT industry, Acronis announced three new cyber protection solutions:

  1. Acronis Cyber Protect, which integrates seven key protection needs into one easy-to-use solution
  2. Acronis Cyber Infrastructure, which delivers a cost-efficient, easy-to-use and reliable hyper-converged infrastructure for hosting cyber protection

9 Considerations When Creating Your Backup Strategy

Today’s businesses are in a constant state of alert when protecting their data. Whether it’s an employee’s careless accident, wildfires in California or cybercriminals at their laptops, the threat of data loss can cause sleepless nights for IT professionals.

To compound this threat, the volume of data that must be protected is growing exponentially. Every day, an estimated 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is generated from an increasingly vast and diverse array of sources, from digital photos and videos to IoT sensors and business-critical systems.

According to the Enterprise Strategy Group, backup and recovery capabilities consistently rank among the top IT priorities for organizations of all sizes. The result is increased demand for business continuity (BC) solutions that help businesses keep operations running in the face of disaster.

OzHosting - Acronis

This year is celebrating its 20th anniversary of providing cloud hosting solutions on the Australian market.  Established in 1997, it’s one of the original web hosting companies in Australia that made web hosting services easy and affordable for Australian businesses and organizations.

Doug Endersbee, CEO, told Acronis that understanding the market and responding to customers’ changing needs have been critical to the company’s success over the last two decades. Mr. Endersbee also explained why selected Acronis Backup Cloud as their new Backup-as-a-Service platform and what has been achieved in the first four months since the system was deployed.

The robots are coming, the robots are coming!

Seriously, there has been an awful lot of discussion in the media about the role of service automation and computerization of business processes.  The reality is that through APIs, machine learning, monitors, sensors and actuators, we are beginning a process by which many workloads formerly handled by people will be accomplished through computers.

At Acronis we believe in trying to leverage our resellers’ existing billing, control panel and system automation software. We have integrated Acronis Backup Cloud into a number of popular industry service automation software solutions like Odin Automation, WHMCS, Hostbill, and ConnectWise, plus we have great APIs for tying into other systems.
