FC Internazionale Milano today announced that it has teamed up with Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, in a multi-year partnership. Several members of Inter attended the formal partnership announcement at Acronis headquarters in Singapore on July 19, including team Captain Samir Handanovic, Tommaso Berni and Corporate Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Antonello.

Founded in 1908, the Italian club is a giant of European and world football, with a bulging trophy case that includes 18 Italian league titles, seven Coppa Italias, five Italian Super Cups, three UEFA Cups, two European Cups, one UEFA Champions League, two Intercontinental Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.

Acronis - Manchester City Partnership

We’ve talked about how world class sports teams rely on data to maintain a competitive advantage. It is vital to their training, strategy development, and improving performance. The insights generated from that data make it an incredibly valuable asset, which is why so many teams choose Acronis’ technology to keep their data safe.

Another sports leader has joined the ranks of teams who rely on Acronis. Manchester City Football Club – the current English Premier League champions and part of the eight-team City Football Group – has entered into a new global technology partnership. As part of the partnership, Acronis will help the Club enhance and develop its data backup and storage capabilities.

Acronis - Arsenal Partnership

Acronis is thrilled to begin a new partnership with one of the most successful and recognized teams in the world of sport: Arsenal Football Club.

We’ve talked frequently about how, at the highest levels of competition, data can be the difference between winning and losing. That’s why teams in data-intensive sports like Formula 1 and Formula E racing rely on Acronis’ solutions.

But the advantage of data extends beyond motorsports, and Arsenal is at the cutting-edge of its use in soccer (aka football to everyone overseas).

Acronis – Scuderia Toro Rosso Partnership

One year ago in Hungary, Acronis announced a long-term partnership with Scuderia Toro Rosso, becoming the first Singaporean company to sponsor an F1 racing team!

One year on, the partnership is growing stronger. Scuderia Toro Rosso has moved from the role of being a product supporter to using Acronis’ solutions itself, both trackside and in the factory.

Toro Rosso Access Advanced

Formula 1 teams share large amounts of data between racing locations, home base, and partners. Scuderia Toro Rosso is no exception. With a small army of trackside engineers and hundreds of devices following the racing calendar around the globe, the data flow never stops.

Some data, like telemetry, pumps through the standard channels for a live feed at the factory. Other information, race-specific calculations and sensitive data, may fall outside of the always-on telemetry stream and require extra attention. While there’s always been sufficient security in place, secure data exchange required manual setup, which prompted Scuderia Toro Rosso to deploy Acronis Access Advanced to streamline the process.
