British multinational jeweler Graff hit with Conti ransomware

London-based British multinational jeweler Graff has fallen victim to a Conti ransomware attack, resulting in the leak of 69,000 confidential documents so far.

The Conti gang is demanding "tens of millions of pounds" for the restoration of Graff's sensitive data, which includes confidential invoices, receipts, and credit notes. They claim that the 69,000 documents leaked so far represent only 1% of their total haul.

With an annual revenue of over $600 million, Graff is an undeniably high-value target for cybercriminals. The company has provided jewels for some of the world's richest and highest-profile individuals, including Donald Trump, Oprah, David Beckham, and Sir Philip Green.

You can protect your precious data against ransomware with the proper tools. Acronis Cyber Protect's Active Protection recognizes Conti ransomware and other cutting-edge threats, and stops them before they can steal data or otherwise impact your systems.
