San Francisco, California, August 30, 2010 - Acronis®, a leading provider of easy-to-use backup, recovery and security solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, will demonstrate its expansion into Cloud-based disaster recovery products and services at VMworld August 30 - September 2 in San Francisco, California.

Acronis, with nearly 10 years of experience creating disk-imaging-based backup and recovery products for data centers and remote facilities, will show its just-announced Acronis Backup & Recovery® 10 Online product, a cost-efficient way to back up files and entire systems to a secure, online, cloud computing-based environment.

The company will also announce a new online recovery service with its partner iland internet solutions that enables virtual and physical machines to be recovered instantly in the cloud.

Izzy Azeri, Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at Acronis, will lead a VMworld session entitled, "Backup and Disaster Recovery - How to Protect Systems and Applications Across Physical, Virtual and Cloud Environments"- in one of the show's opening conference sessions, Monday August 30, 3 pm, room 309 at the Moscone Center.

In addition, Acronis® Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition will be featured, one of the only disk image-based backup and recovery products for physical and virtual environments certified VMware ReadyTM for the VMware platform.

According to Azeri, "Disaster recovery plans can keep business owners awake at night, especially for business-critical applications that customers and partners depend on. Until now, offsite recoveries have been too expensive to consider seriously. Acronis has solved that problem with the new offsite services we're showing at VMworld. Each is priced so that businesses of any size can afford them. We invite attendees to stop by booth #1125 and experience how Acronis delivers complete peace of mind in offsite disaster recovery situations."
