Ingram Micro Expands Distribution Agreement with Acronis®

Strategic alliance expands availability of Acronis' cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace to channel partners worldwide and brings priority to U.S. relationship

Irvine, California - November 9, 2015 - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced it has expanded its distribution agreement with Acronis, a global leader in new generation data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments.

Initially offered in the United States, the expanded relationship has extended the reach and availability of Acronis' cloud data protection solutions offered via Ingram Micro to nine countries - Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom - with more planned. Channel partners worldwide will soon be able to easily configure and manage Acronis' leading cloud data protection solutions from a single automated platform. Additionally, the expanded agreement brings priority to the relationship in the U.S. where Ingram Micro now serves as the premier distributor of Acronis' growing portfolio of data protection and disaster recovery solutions for virtual, physical, mobile and cloud environments.

With the rising threat of data loss from security breaches, system failures, and man-made and natural disasters, many organizations are turning to cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to protect their information. Recognized as the industry's most complete data protection platform, Acronis' tightly integrated set of solutions includes backup, disaster recovery, and secure file sync and share, offering channel partners the ability to provide customizable and affordable data protection solutions to their end-customers. Powered by the Acronis AnyData Engine, the Acronis Data Protection Platform and solutions safeguard critical workloads and ensure business continuity and productivity across any cloud or hybrid cloud environment.

"The addition of Acronis to the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace and new premier status in the U.S. demonstrates our commitment to identifying and delivering best-in-class solutions and cloud services that help channel partners drive business transformation, gain a competitive edge and increase profitability," said Paul Bay, executive vice president and chief executive, Ingram Micro U.S.

Tailored to support any operating system, Acronis' highly flexible data protection solutions are well suited for the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace and allow channel partners to easily deploy and scale cloud solutions to a larger global customer base while quickly tapping into new revenue generating services for data protection.

"We are extremely pleased that Ingram Micro has selected Acronis as a preferred provider of data protection solutions for its Cloud Marketplace and Advanced Solutions organization. What makes our expanded relationship unique is that Ingram Micro can now distribute Acronis software, broker Acronis services to cloud resellers, and sell Acronis cloud solutions to service providers - greatly extending our partner reach and value," said Serg Bell, Co-Founder and CEO at Acronis. "We believe that leaders like Ingram Micro play a critical role in the adoption and growth of cloud services, adding value by acting as the integrator, product manager, and cost manager for partners. Ingram Micro partners worldwide can now have a best-in-class choice for complete data protection that is integrated with the Ingram Micro platform and can be easily customized and tailored to the end-user's needs."

The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace is an ecosystem of buyers, sellers and solutions that enables channel partners to transform and grow their business by offering instant, online access to a wide array of innovative cloud solutions from a single online portal. Through its automated platform, the Cloud Marketplace delivers seamless and efficient management of the complete end-customer cloud subscription lifecycle.

Acronis will be attending and spotlighting its data protection portfolio at the Ingram Micro ONE event, November 16-18 in Nashville, TN.
