Acronis recognized as a Trail Blazer in recent Radicati Group’s Market Quadrant Report on Endpoint Security

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland, December 1, 2021 - Acronis, the global leader in cyber protection, has been recognized in the Radicati Group's Market Quadrant report on Endpoint Security for 2021. The company was placed in the "Trail Blazer" quadrant, highlighting the company's departure from its status of being just another backup company. The report praised Acronis' competence in several areas, including strategic vision, and single agent policy.

The Radicati Group, Inc. is a California-based market research firm devoted to technology market research, both in quantitative and qualitative metrics. The Endpoint Security Market Quadrant report outlines different endpoint security companies across a quadrant split across Top Players, Trail Blazers, Specialists, and Mature Players categories.

Radicati reported on Acronis' Detection and Response (formerly Nyotron) as a zero-trust, last line of defense against invading malware using threat-agnostic protection. The report also mentioned Acronis DeviceLockDLP, its endpoint data loss prevention solution, saying it allows "customers to choose the best configuration for their security requirements and budget." The report recognized Acronis' strengths in deep integration, its use of a single agent, and its tightly integrated cyber protection all in a single product.

"By deeply integrating its roots in backup technology with endpoint protection, Acronis is offering a new approach in cyber protection," said Sara Radicati, PhD. President & CEO of The Radicati Group.

This report marks the fourth occasion in 2021 Acronis has been recognized in an endpoint protection report, with past reports recognizing Acronis including Canalys, Infotech's SoftwareReviews.com, and Analysys Mason. The full report from Radicati Research can be downloaded HERE.

Acronis recently made headlines for its growing presence in the sports market, with large franchises such as the Buffalo Bills engaging in the company's #TeamUp program, enabling managed service providers to employ Acronis' cyber protection solutions to various sports teams with broadened brand exposure.
