Agent for Hyper-V

Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Agent for Hyper-V protects virtual machines residing on a Hyper-V virtualization server. The agent allows for backing up virtual machines from the host without having to install agents on each virtual machine.

Agent for Hyper-V can be installed in the following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2008/2008 R2 (x64) with Hyper-V
• Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008/2008 R2
• Windows Server 2012 with Hyper-V
• Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012

Agent for Hyper-V cannot be installed in Windows 8, even though this operating system includes the Hyper-V feature.
