Enabling XDR

As the partner administrator, you can enable the XDR service to provide Extended Detection and Response (XDR) functionality in client protection plans.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) must also be enabled in the protection plan for all workloads that you want to protect. For more information, see Enabling EDR.

To enable the XDR service

  1. Log in to the management portal.

    If prompted, select the clients you want to apply the XDR service to, and click Enable.
  2. In the left navigation pane, click Clients.

  3. Under Cyber Protect, click the Protection tab.

    The list of existing clients subscribed to the Protection service is displayed.

  4. Click the relevant client you want to add the XDR service to.

    In the Configure tab, under the Protection section, ensure that the XDR checkbox is selected.
