Navigation in Management Portal
When using Management Portal, at any given time you are operating within the context of a tenant. The name of this tenant is indicated in the upper-left corner of the application.
When you log in to Management Portal, the highest hierarchy level available to you is selected by default, and you start in the Clients screen, which displays a list of your tenants. Click a tenant name to drill down the hierarchy. To navigate back to an upper level, click its name in the navigation breadcrumbs in the upper-left corner.
The main menu items on the left of UI only pertain to the tenant in which you are currently operating. For example:
- Clients displays only the tenants that are direct child objects of the tenant in which you are currently operating.
Select a service from the View drop-down list to see statistics about the usage of services that are enabled for the tenant.
- Monitoring displays information about the usage and operations of the direct child objects of the tenant in which you are currently operating.You might have additional options in this tab, depending on the services to which you are subscribed.
- Reports displays statistics of your tenant and all child tenants.Depending on the management mode of your child tenants, as a partner you might or might not view information about individual customers and their users under your child partner tenants.
- My Company displays users and the company profile of the tenant in which you are currently operating.
- Integrations displays the integration catalog for your tenant and child tenants.
- Settings allows you to change various settings, some of which apply to the current tenant, and some of which arr inherited by child tenants.
Click New to create a new tenant or a new user, but only in the context of the tenant in which you are currently operating.
You might have additional options in the main menu, depending on the services to which you are subscribed.
For example, if an administrator has activated PSA for the tenant in which you are currently operating, you will also have Task Management and Sales & billing main menu options, and various additional second-level options on the standard main menu items.
