mbr_disk

--mbr_disk=<disk number>

Number of the disk whose master boot record (MBR) is to be recovered from a backup. The parameter is used with the recover disk command to recover an MBR in addition to recovering a volume.

You will usually recover an MBR in the following cases:

• When migrating a machine to different hardware.
• When recovering custom or non-Windows boot loaders. Acronis Cyber Protect automatically updates Windows loaders after the volume recovery, so there is no need to recover the MBR unless it is damaged.
