Resolving compatibility issues

Depending on the cause of the compatibility issues, you can perform different actions to resolve the compatibility issues as part of the process of creating or editing a plan.

To resolve the compatibility issues

Conflicting plan

  1. Click Review issues.

  2. [To resolve the issue by removing workloads from the new plan]

    1. On the Conflicting plan tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.

      You cannot remove workloads that are part of a device group.

    2. Click Remove selected workloads from the plan.
    3. Click Remove, and then click Close.

  3. [To resolve the issue by disabling the plans that are already applied to the workload]

    1. Click Disable applied plans.
    2. Click Disable, and then click Close.

Incompatible OS

  1. Click Review issues.
  2. [To resolve the issue by removing workloads from the plan]

    1. On the Incompatible operating system tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.
    2. Click Remove workloads from plan.
    3. Click Remove, and then click Close.
  3. [For monitoring plans] [To resolve the issue by disabling a monitor in the plan]

    1. On the Incompatible operating system tab, select the monitors that you want to remove.
    2. Click Disable monitor.
    3. Click Disable, and then click Close.
  4. [For plans different from monitoring] [To resolve the issue by disabling a module in the plan]

    1. On the Incompatible operating system tab, expand the conflicting module.
    2. Click Disable module in plan.
    3. Click Disable, and then click Close.

Unsupported agent

  1. Click Review issues.
  2. On the Unsupported agent tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.
  3. Click Remove workloads from plan.
  4. Click Remove, and then click Close.

Insufficient quota

  1. Click Review issues.
  2. On the Insufficient quota tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.
  3. Click Remove workloads from plan.
  4. Click Remove, and then click Close.

Incompatible workload type

  1. Click Review issues.
  2. On the Insufficient quota tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.
  3. Click Remove workloads from plan.
  4. Click Remove, and then click Close.

Missing advanced pack

  1. Click Review issues.
  2. [To resolve the issue by removing workloads from the new plan] On the Missing advanced pack tab, select the workloads that you want to remove.

    • Click Remove workloads from plan.
    • Click Remove, and then click Close.
  3. [To resolve the issue by enabling the required advanced pack]

    • [For partner administrators] Go to Management Portal, and then enable the required advanced pack for this customer.
