Sharing clipboard content between workloads
You can send the clipboard content of your workload to a remote workload, or get the clipboard content from a remote workload via NEAR. For example, you may want to copy some text from a file on the remote workload and paste it into a document on your workload, and the opposite.
Send clipboard
Prerequisites
2FA is enabled for your user account.
To send the clipboard content from your workload to a remote workload
- Start a remote control session to a managed workload via NEAR.

If you want the contents of your clipboard and the remote workloads's clipboard to be synchronized automatically, in the Viewer toolbar, click the Other icon, and then select Clipboard auto sync.

To share the content from your clipboard to the remote workload's clipboard, do the following.

If Clipboard auto sync is disabled, perform the corresponding steps:
- On your local workload, copy the text or image that you want to send.
- In the Viewer toolbar of the remote workload, click the Others icon.
- Click Send clipboard.
- Open the file in which you want to paste the content, and then paste it.

If Clipboard auto sync is enabled, depending on the content that you want to share, perform the corresponding steps.
Option Actions If you want to share one or several files in your local clipboard - On your local workload, copy the file or files that you want to send.
- Open the remote workload's Viewer window.
- In the alert pop-up that appears, click Send to remote computer.
- Paste the content to the remote workload.
If you want to share a text from a file in your local clipboard - On your local workload, copy the text that you want to send.
- Open the remote workload's Viewer window.
- Open the file in which you want to paste the content.
- Paste the content to the file.

Get clipboard

If you want the contents of your clipboard and the remote workloads's clipboard to be synchronized automatically, in the Viewer toolbar, click the Other icon, and then select Clipboard auto sync.

To get the content from the remote workload's clipboard to your clipboard, do the following.

If Clipboard auto sync is disabled, perform the corresponding steps.

On the remote workload, copy the text or image that you want to share.

In the Viewer toolbar of the remote workload, click the Others icon.

Click Get clipboard.
- On the local workload, open the file in which you want to paste the content.
- Paste the content to the file.

If Clipboard auto sync is enabled, depending on the content that you want to get, perform the corresponding steps.
Option Actions If you want to get one or several files from the remote workload's clipboard to your local clipboard -
On the remote workload, copy the file or files that you want to get.

In the alert pop-up that appears, click Receive clipboard.

On your local workload, paste the content.
If you want to get a text from the remote workload's clipboard to your local clipboard -
On the remote workload, copy the text that you want to get.

On your local workload, paste the content to a file.
