APS 20.11

Supported platform: Acronis Cyber Cloud 9.0 or later

With this update, the Acronis APS package brings support for additional Acronis Cyber Cloud services, editions and offering items.

What's New

  1. Support for Acronis Cyber Cloud platform 20.08 and 20.09
    • New editions:
      • Cyber Protect (billing mode - Per Workload), including:
        • Cyber Protect Essentials
        • Cyber Protect Standard
        • Cyber Protect Advanced
        • Cyber Backup Standard
        • Disaster Recovery add-on.
      • Cyber Backup (billing mode - Per GB), including the only Cyber Backup Standard.
    • Changes in the existing offering items: Microsoft SharePoint Online is no longer a feature but a counter, which supports limits and usage.
  2. Support for additional services for Partner-type subscriptions (support for customers' subscriptions will be implemented in future updates): Files Cloud and Notary.
  3. "Service provider" service profile is renamed to "Partner" to better meet naming in Acronis Cyber Cloud.
  4. Application page in CCPv1 was reworked to no longer contain information about resource usage/limits on subscription. Customers can get this information using the standard CCPv1 page in Home > All Resource Usage.
  5. Update in the list of default service templates, automatically created in CloudBlue Commerce during the initial installation:
    • "Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud" for new Cyber Protect edition
    • "Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud" for new Cyber Backup edition
    • "Acronis Cyber Cloud for Reseller Branding" for both new Cyber Protect and Cyber Backup editions
  6. Documentation improvements

Known issues and limitations

  1. Direct upgrade is supported only from versions 2.2-2324 or 2.2-2104. For earlier, you need to update to 2.2-2104 first. The list of all APS versions can be found here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/65155
  2. PHP 5.6 only is supported.
  3. If you are using Odin Automation 7.x and the current version of Acronis Cyber Cloud APS is earlier than build 1884, please involve Odin to the update and refer to https://kb.odin.com/en/131431
  4. Odin Automation versions 6.0, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.0 and 8.2 are not officially supported. Before upgrading the Acronis Cyber Cloud APS package to version 20.11, verify that you have Odin Automation 8.3 at least.
  5. The following performance issues exist in the Acronis APS 20.11 running Odin Automation version 8.3:
    • CI-9033: "Enable Subscription" feature degradation caused by increased number of counters in resource;
    • CI-9479: Provider subscription switch fails due to time out error, and it results in wrong states for some of the services;
    • CI-9283: Intermittent timeout errors during attempts to assign own storage;
    • CI-9497: Switch of subscription leads to fail of Change Order (CH) with Conflict: [1001] error from Cloud;
    • CI-9496: Disabled subscription state in OSA is not propagated to the Cloud;
    • CI-9498: Delays in subscription switch between OSA and the Cloud.

We strongly recommend scheduling the upgrade of Odin Automation to version 20.4 or later with your IM representative.
