This update of the integration includes enabling all services and advanced packs (the ones activated for the service provider) as well as setting quotas to unlimited for customers provisioned automatically through the integration. It also aligns a set of provisioning parameters with the manual process of customer creation in the platform:
- Provision as either Production or Trial
- 2-factor authentication On/Off
- Enhanced security mode On/Off
- Create administrator user email
- Billing method per workload or per gigabyte
In addition, an easier way is provided to renew the refresh token, required for the integration to operate for another term (30 days, by default). Check this feature at Integration settings tab > Credentials section > Renew token.
What's new
- Provision customers in Acronis with services enabled
- Refresh token renewal
Version 2.0
Platform version: Acronis Cyber Cloud 23.03
The release helps to reduce the cost of customer tenants' onboarding. It expands the functionality of the integration by providing both manual and automatic Customer Tenant Provisioning, based on customers in NinjaOne RMM. In addition, introduces configurable monitoring of device statuses and ticket synchronization in NinjaOne, based on Acronis alerts.
The following new scenarios were added:
- Provision all or selected NinjaOne organizations as new customer tenants in Acronis
- Configure automatic customer tenant provisioning and deprovisioning, based on NinjaOne organizations
- Monitoring of Acronis statuses using NinjaOne custom fields
- Synchronization between Acronis alerts and NinjaOne ticketing
Note: Deployment of this update to all Acronis datacenters is expected to complete by 12 April 2023.
What's new
- Enabling the integration, credentials input and test connection
- Mapping to new or existing customers
- Automatic customer provisioning and deprovisioning
- Mapping of Acronis statuses to NinjaOne devices' custom fields
- Mapping of Acronis alerts to NinjaOne tickets
Known issues
- In a 30-days period after enabling the integration, a token expiration may cause the integration to stop working. Check the current status at: Integrations > NinjaOne > Configure.
- If you already have this error: "The token used to authenticate in NinjaOne has expired, which caused the integration to stop working. Click "Next" to proceed with token renewal.", follow the on-screen instructions to generate a new token.
- If there is no such error, you can check the expiration date in NinjaOne (Administration > Apps > API > OAuth Tokens tab) and renew it for another term in the Acronis Management console (Integration settings tab > Credentials section > Renew token).
