Acronis is pleased to welcome HoJin Kim as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Kim brings extensive experience in technology sales and channel leadership, with a career shaped by building partner relationships and helping organizations grow. His appointment adds a seasoned commercial leader to Acronis as the company continues to serve managed service providers (MSPs) and businesses around the world.
As CRO, Kim will lead Acronis’ revenue organization and help connect its commercial strategy with the needs of customers and partners. Acronis works with a global network of service providers, making strong relationships and clear execution central to how the company reaches organizations. Kim’s background across global channel and sales roles gives him a perspective grounded in the partner ecosystem.
Before joining Acronis, Kim served as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at WatchGuard Technologies. In that role, he led the company’s worldwide sales organization and focused on growth, expanding the sales organization, and supporting adoption of its security platform among MSPs. He previously served as chief revenue officer at The Channel Company, where he was responsible for revenue growth and the company’s commercial goals.
Earlier, Kim was Vice President of Worldwide Channels and North America sales at SonicWall. His career also includes channel sales leadership roles at Samsung and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, as well as regional partner roles at Juniper Networks and IBM. Across these positions, he developed a broad understanding of how technology companies and their partners can work together to reach customers and support evolving business needs.
That experience is relevant in a market where service providers are asked to deliver dependable technology services while adapting to new customer requirements. Acronis AI-native cyber protection unifies data protection, cybersecurity, IT operations and hybrid infrastructure, helping services providers and IT teams deliver business continuity, security and compliance with less cost and complexity. Kim’s experience working across sales and channels will support continued engagement with the partners who bring these capabilities to organizations worldwide.
Kim’s appointment also reflects the importance of commercial leadership that understands both global growth and the day-to-day work of partner businesses. Building durable relationships, aligning teams around customer needs, and supporting consistent execution are essential parts of serving a diverse partner community. His track record across technology companies gives him experience with these priorities and with the changing demands of the channel. That work depends on listening closely to partners, coordinating teams across regions and translating customer priorities into practical programs that help service providers build lasting, sustainable growth.
At Acronis, Kim will work with colleagues across the company to advance its commercial efforts and support customers and partners as they protect and manage their environments. His experience spanning cybersecurity, enterprise technology and channel organizations offers a strong foundation for this work.
We are excited to welcome HoJin Kim to Acronis and look forward to the experience and leadership he brings to the company. As Acronis continues to grow its global business, Kim will help strengthen the relationships and execution that connect its platform with the organizations that rely on it.
