Windows performed faster running Acronis Cyber Platform (formerly Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud) than it did running any other similar product. ## Similar cybersecurity solutions tested on two different Windows machines AV-TEST conducted a series of tests to evaluate: * Slowdown at the start of popular websites. * Slower downloading of frequently used programs. * Slower introduction of standard software programs. * Slower installation of frequently used programs. * Slower copying of files (locally and in a network). They calculated the total average time required for five basic functions, including: * Downloading files * Loading websites * Installing applications * Running applications * Opening specific documents * Copying files The total impact of Acronis Cyber Platform (formerly Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud) with Advanced Security + XDR on Windows performance was 5.89%, making it the best performing product out of the 16 vendors tested. The next-best product had a performance impact of nearly 7%, while the worst impacted performance was nearly 14%.
