Come celebrate the opening of our new computer classroom in rural Mexico — CRS project

On February 17, 2026, the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program will proudly mark a new milestone in its long-term commitment to digital inclusion: the opening of a brand-new computer classroom at Escuela Rural Productiva in Tepetzintan, Puebla, Mexico. This classroom, created in partnership with VirtualTech, represents the next stage of a multiyear collaboration to expand educational access for rural youth — we invite our partners to attend the opening ceremony and witness the impact firsthand. 

• You are invited: The opening ceremony on February 17, 2026, welcomes Acronis partners and service providers who want to experience the foundation’s impact directly and explore opportunities for future CSR collaboration. 

• A meaningful cultural and educational experience: Attendees will meet students, teachers and community members, and see how technology is helping empower a Náhuatlspeaking rural population through education. 

• A longstanding collaboration: Acronis and VirtualTech co-funded the construction of the school in 2024 and have continued supporting it with a dedicated computer classroom, strengthening long-term learning opportunities for local youth. 

• Low barrier to participation: Acronis will cover local transportation, meals and ceremony organization; partners only need to arrange international flights and lodging — making participation accessible even for smaller MSPs and service providers. 

• Ways to contribute: Partners may donate small gifts, such as stationery and classroom supplies. We welcome our Mexico-based partners to bring repurposed laptops to support the students. These contributions are optional but will have a meaningful impact. 

Escuela Rural Productiva serves approximately 80 students and is known for its educational model that blends modern academic learning with the preservation of ancestral agricultural knowledge. Many students and community members speak Náhuatl alongside Spanish, making access to digital tools especially transformative for learning, cultural preservation and future career pathways. 

The Acronis Cyber Foundation Program first partnered with VirtualTech to support construction of the school in 2024, expanding classrooms and improving learning conditions. As part of that ongoing mission, Acronis funded a dedicated computer classroom in 2025. Now, in 2026, we are honored to return to Tepetzintan to celebrate its official opening with the community. 

The region’s deeply rooted Indigenous culture, its commitment to sustainable practices and the collective involvement of families, teachers and local workers make this project a truly communitydriven initiative. 

Many of our partners are passionate about education and social impact, but few have the resources to fund construction projects alone. That is why the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program invites partners across the ecosystem to join us at the opening ceremony on February 17, 2026. 

• Meet students, teachers and families. 

• See firsthand how digital tools are transforming learning in rural areas. 

• Participate in a meaningful cultural and educational experience. 

• Learn how CSR initiatives can be accessible, impactful and collaborative. 

Acronis will cover the organization of the ceremony, ground transportation within Mexico, meals and professional photography and videography throughout the program. Participants need only arrange their international travel and accommodation. 

For those who want to further enrich the visit, bringing small gifts — books, stationery or repurposed laptops — can make a direct and personal impact on the students. This is entirely optional but always appreciated. 

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives often seem out of reach for small or midsize service providers, especially when they involve largescale construction. But this project demonstrates a different model — one rooted in partnership, shared resources and inclusive participation.

Attendees are also welcome to bring employees or family members — including children — to gain perspective on the value of education in different cultural and geographical contexts. 

The opening of the computer classroom is not the end of a project — it is the beginning of new possibilities. With improved digital access, students can explore new subjects, build digital literacy skills and expand their career horizons beyond the limits typically faced in remote communities.
