Introducing New Acronis CEO: Jan-Jaap Jager

We are excited to announce the appointment of our new Chief Executive Officer, Jan-Jaap (JJ) Jager.

JJ most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Virtuozzo, a leading provider of hyperconverged cloud solutions, and Chief Executive Officer of Chainstack, a leading blockchain infrastructure provider.

JJ’s long and successful history with Acronis includes developing new markets for Acronis as Vice President for Emerging Markets, launching the cloud business as General Manager of Global Cloud Solutions and expanding Acronis' global footprint as Chief Revenue Officer. Most recently, JJ served as an advisor to the Acronis board.

JJ brings a wealth of experience as a serial entrepreneur, seasoned executive, and investor in the technology market.

We would like to thank Ezequiel Steiner for his outstanding leadership as CEO and President. During his tenure, he drove significant transformation, strengthened the company’s foundations for growth, and successfully guided Acronis through its transition to EQT ownership. Ezequiel will continue to support Acronis as an advisor.
