WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assist in researching vulnerabilities in open-source software
Evaluate the impact of vulnerabilities on Acronis products
Support engineering teams in implementing mitigations
Analyze public vulnerability databases
Track security advisories Help scan product and its dependencies for potential risks
WHAT YOU BRING
Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Go. Familiarity with open-source software ecosystems (e.g., Linux, GitHub, package managers like PyPI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive security mindset. Self-motivated and eager to explore new technologies and security challenges. Good interpersonal and written communication skills in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Interest in open-source security and experience contributing to or auditing projects.
Basic understanding of common software vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CWE).
Familiarity with security analysis tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, or fuzz testing.
