Acronis is a global leader in cyber protection, delivering natively integrated solutions that monitor, control, and protect the data that businesses and individuals depend on. Driven by our mission to protect every workload, we have built the industry’s only all-in-one cyber protection platform.

We are seeking a Director of Global Procurement to join us in protecting the digital world by leading end-to-end procurement strategy and operations across the enterprise. Reporting to the CFO, this executive will unify Data Center Operations (DCO) Procurement (spanning 50+ locations worldwide), General Procurement, and Vendor Power into a cohesive global operating model—integrating currently distributed teams into a scalable, high-performing function.

This role requires deep hardware and infrastructure procurement expertise, strong global leadership capability, and a proven ability to modernize procurement through AI, automation, and data-driven operating models. The successful candidate will drive measurable efficiencies, cost optimization, and risk mitigation while enabling continued infrastructure expansion and long-term business growth.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and elevate Acronis’ global procurement function. The Director of Global Procurement will directly influence infrastructure strategy, financial performance, and operational resilience across Acronis’ global footprint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the global procurement strategy and operating model, aligned to Acronis’ growth, margin, and resilience goals.
  • Lead and manage $75M+ in annual global spend across data center infrastructure, hardware, networking, colocation, power/energy, and enterprise indirect categories.
  • Unify DCO Procurement, General Procurement, and Vendor Power into a consistent, scalable global function with clear governance and accountability.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and complex enterprise negotiations across DCO categories, with strong emphasis on hardware procurement (servers, storage, networking equipment, infrastructure components).
  • Drive measurable outcomes across cost optimization, supplier performance, contract governance, and vendor risk management.
  • Identify and execute cost savings initiatives through negotiation, strategic partnerships, demand management, and redesign/value strategies, with clear financial impact.
  • Implement AI-enabled and automated procurement capabilities to improve speed, quality, compliance, spend visibility, and team productivity.
  • Establish global standards, policies, KPIs, and dashboards to manage performance and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed procurement organization; develop talent, capabilities, and succession plans.
  • Partner with Finance, Engineering, Operations, IT, and Legal to support infrastructure expansion and company-wide initiatives.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 12+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience, including global scope; VP/Senior Director-level leadership preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth technology, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, or infrastructure-heavy organizations.
  • Proven experience managing $75M+ in annual spend across infrastructure and/or technology categories.
  • Demonstrated Data Center Operations procurement experience, including enterprise negotiations for infrastructure-related categories.
  • Track record of delivering significant, quantifiable savings through negotiations, strategic supplier partnerships, consolidation initiatives, and redesign/value engineering strategies.
  • Proven success leading distributed, cross-regional teams and operating effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience implementing or operationalizing AI, automation, and/or advanced analytics to drive procurement efficiency and transformation (with measurable impact).
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and contract management capability; able to operate at executive level and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen (savings delivery, margin impact, working capital considerations, and total cost of ownership).
  • Familiarity with procurement tools (source-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics) and operating model design.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strategic operator: sets direction and delivers results.
  • Change leader: can modernize functions and drive adoption across stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong executive presence.
  • Builder of scalable teams, processes, and governance across regions.
