Join Acronis Asia R&D as a Machine Learning Intern to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in cybersecurity and data protection. You will work alongside experienced engineers and researchers, applying your skills to real-world challenges and gaining valuable industry experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist in the evaluation of machine learning models for various cybersecurity applications, including malware detection, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate on model improvements.
• Research and evaluate new machine learning algorithms and techniques, especially with agentic approach to model analysis.
• Contribute to the development of robust and scalable ML pipelines.
• Document research findings, code, and model architectures.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning), and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python (with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), Java, or C++.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
