Infrastructure Automation Intern

We are looking for an Infrastructure Automation Intern to join us in protecting the digital world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Supports technology and infrastructure automation projects within Data Center Operations in accordance with DevOps principles.

• Develops automation scripts, internal tools, and workflows using Python and Bash to streamline operational processes.

• Contributes to CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.

• Works with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native technologies to improve deployment and operational efficiency.

• Assists in building and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.

• Collaborates with engineering teams across multiple time zones to ensure continuous delivery and operational reliability.

• Explores AI-driven automation to enhance infrastructure workflows and reduce manual effort.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language: Python, Go, Bash

• Basic understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)

• Exposure to Git version control and collaborative development workflows (branching, pull requests)

• Interest or coursework in CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar)

• Basic awareness of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative, team-player with a commitment to succeed and never give up attitude.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Exposure to monitoring and observability concepts (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar).

• Interest in AI/LLM-driven automation (MCP, prompt engineering, API integrations).

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
