WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work on production-grade AI systems powering Acronis’ AI Assistant, building and improving RAG pipelines alongside agentic workflows that drive real user-facing features
Build and integrate components using frameworks such as LangChain and Azure AI Service, within scalable backend systems
Design and implement new agents and multi-agent workflows for task automation, reasoning, and tool orchestration
Run experiments to evaluate system performance (e.g., relevance, latency, hallucination), and iterate based on measurable improvements
Implement features and APIs within GenAI services under guidance from senior engineers, following production best practices
Develop and refine prompt templates, retrieval strategies, and context construction to improve response quality and grounding
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of core software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, and API development
Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, C/C++, Go, or similar languages
Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Azure AI), and an interest in building LLM-powered applications
Ability to independently research technical topics and clearly communicate findings and trade-offs
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment
What the intern will gain:
Hands-on experience building production-grade Generative AI systems, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows used in real-world applications
Practical exposure to modern LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and Azure AI services, working on scalable AI-driven features end-to-end
Opportunity to develop strong software engineering skills by contributing to backend services, APIs, and AI system components in a production environment
Collaboration with cross-functional teams across AI, backend engineering, and product, gaining insight into deploying and scaling AI features in real products
