Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our mission of protecting the digital world.

Acronis is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to support and develop our global data center network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and security across business-critical cloud environments, primarily based on Juniper and Arista networking platforms.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to work in an AI-augmented, automation-first engineering culture.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues across Acronis data centers

• Triage events, escalate incidents, and ensure timely resolution

• Support other engineering teams with network-related issues

• Analyze and maintain configurations on Juniper and Arista network devices

• Plan and execute production network maintenance following Change Management processes

• Improve network performance through proactive optimization

• Develop automation using Python, Ansible, or SaltStack

• Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and operational knowledge

• Manage infrastructure inventory and equipment tracking using DCIM tools

• Use AI tools (VS Code + Copilot, Windsurf ) daily for faster troubleshooting, config validation, and documentation

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations or Data Center environments

• Hands-on expertise with Juniper (EX/QFX, SRX, MX/PTX) or Arista platforms

• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols:
  ** BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN,VXLAN

• Ability to design and manage complex ACLs and firewall policies

• Linux networking and security skills are a plus

• Experience with scripting, automation frameworks, and version control (Git)

• Strong English communication skills; multilingual is a plus

• Certifications are highly desirable:
  ** Juniper JNCA, JNCP,CCNA,CCNP or similar 
  ** Arista ACE Level 3+
