Yes. Cloud validation includes up to 10 eligible backup archives per two-week period at no additional charge. It supports Acronis-hosted storage in data centers where Disaster Recovery is enabled, excluding tenants in Compliance mode. Archive, operating-system and workload limits apply. ### Does validation guarantee a specific recovery time? No. Validation checks data consistency or whether a supported system boots. Recovery time also depends on data volume, bandwidth, infrastructure and recovery method. Test the complete process against your recovery-time objective. ### What does the Anti-Ransomware Recovery Warranty cover? For eligible customers meeting all requirements, it covers eligible ransomware recovery costs when recovery is attempted from Acronis Cloud Storage. The cap is the lesser of US$1 million or applicable fees paid to Acronis in the previous 12 months. Notify Acronis within seven days of detection and provide supporting evidence. Health checks alone do not establish eligibility. The warranty is not cyber insurance. ### How is Acronis Cloud Storage priced? Pricing is capacity-based, with per-GB pay-as-you-go available for MSPs and subscription options for businesses. Budget for retained data, optional geo-redundancy and separately licensed services. Acronis-hosted storage has no API, upload, retrieval or egress charges. ### What is immutable storage, and how does retention work? Immutable storage protects backups from modification or permanent deletion for a defined period, following the write-once, read-many principle. Acronis Cyber Platform (formerly Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud) supports 14–3,650 days. Governance mode permits retention changes; Compliance mode locks the period and cannot be reversed or disabled. Retained data consumes storage. ### How does immutability fit a 3-2-1 backup strategy? Keep three copies on two media types, with one offsite. The 3-2-1-1-0 extension adds an offline, air-gapped or immutable copy and zero errors verified through testing. Immutability controls changes; an air gap isolates access paths. An online immutable copy is not automatically air-gapped. ### Can Acronis Cloud Storage support compliance requirements? Location choices, retention, encryption and audit logs can support your policies. Assess obligations such as SEC Rule 17a-4, FINRA recordkeeping, HIPAA and GDPR against your complete deployment and the relevant service terms. ### Can I use my own storage instead? Acronis Backup also supports partner-hosted infrastructure and supported public or private object storage for backup. Pricing and capabilities differ. The included cloud validation described here applies to Acronis-hosted storage. ### Are disaster recovery and storage licensed together? Cloud failover, recovery compute and networking require the applicable Disaster Recovery configuration and licensing.
