Acronis Joins Red Hat ISV Partner Program — Becomes Red Hat Ready Partner

Acronis True Image for Linux promises speedy recovery for open source systems

December 01, 2006, Burlington, Mass. — Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com), the technological leader in storage management software, announced it has joined the Red Hat Inc. (NASDAQ:RHAT) ISV Partner Program, which offers software vendors the opportunity to easily access the tools and resources necessary to develop and test their applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the leading platform for open source computing. Acronis also has joined as a Red Hat Ready Partner.

By joining the Red Hat ISV Partner Program and the Red Hat Ready Partner Program, Acronis will take advantage of the program's co-marketing and co-branding offerings to bring its Acronis True Image Server for Linux products to the global community of Red Hat Enterprise Linux customers.

The original Linux disk imaging and bare-metal restore solution on the market, Acronis True Image Server for Linux provides locally managed online server backup, server disk imaging, and bare-metal restore solution for servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as well as other Linux distributions.

"Acronis recognizes the exceptional technology developed by Red Hat and that is why Acronis incorporates a customized version of the Red Hat kernel in our emergency boot disks," said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. "Becoming a partner with Red Hat formalizes a relationship that has been ongoing for years. Acronis and Red Hat bring together some of the most advanced technology for the enterprise IT infrastructure."

"Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the clear choice for an open source enterprise platform," said Zorian Rotenberg, director, business development, Acronis, Inc. "By taking a snapshot of the Linux system, Acronis True Image Server for Linux enables Red Hat Linux users to protect and recover their data, whether it's an individual file or an entire operating system, in minutes instead of hours or days."
