SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland, 9th December, 2008 - Acronis today announced that CDG Europe will distribute its leading backup and recovery software in Sweden.
Under the agreement, CDG Europe will distribute the full Acronis True Image family of enterprise backup and recovery software designed for both virtual and physical environments. The agreement follows the successful partnership which CDG Europe and Acronis have formed in Finland since January 2008.
Commenting on the partnership Henrik Jalsborn, director of sales for Scandinavia at Acronis, said: "We've been selling our products in Sweden for some time now. Having recently opened an office in the region we are ready to propel our business to the next level, and we have every confidence that CDG Europe has the right experience and approach to make this happen."
John Sönderskov, sales manager for CDG Europe in Sweden commented, "Acronis fits well into our existing product portfolio addressing needs expressed by our customers and partners. With proven technology applied to new areas like virtualization, we see strong growth and expanding market share ahead. The company has aggressive plans for growth and investment in the Swedish market and there are lucrative benefits for resellers who do business with Acronis. Demand for tried and tested backup and recovery software is still rising despite the tougher economic climate."
